A few days later, our train pulled into old Napoli. Stepping out, we found ourselves transported to an entirely different world. Southern Italy—with its vibrant energy, warm hues, and distinct character—stood in stark contrast to the European locales we’d visited before: Hamburg, Strasbourg, Bern.
Napoli’s bustling streets, colorful buildings, and the sheer vitality of its atmosphere were a sensory feast. It was as though the city itself was alive, pulsing with history, culture, and an undeniable zest for life.
I shall share more of Napoli’s story and its stark differences from the other cities when I find the time. For now, I’m savoring the richness of this southern gem, where every corner seems to hold a tale waiting to be told.
